WHICH WINDOWS WILL FIT THIS TOP?

CAN I INSTALL A ROOF VENT INTO MY TOP?
Yes, to install a roof vent you need only to cut the opening, build a basic wood frame, adhere it to the top and install the vent.
CAN I ATTACH THINGS LIKE A RACK, SOLAR PANEL, OR AWNING TO MY HIGH TOP?
For sure! Anything is possible as long as it is done right. To attach such items you will have to ensure a proper backing to distribute the weight across a greater area. This can be as simple as adhering a 2x4, plywood, aluminum, PE, HDPE, etc. to the inside and then fastening the item to the backing.
CAN THE HIGH TOP BE INSULATED?
Yes, there are a number of options available on the market today! Some people have used a combination of rigid foam board with spray foam to fill the gaps. A more refined option in our opinion is to use a product like Thinsulate or a foil-backed foam insualtion.
DO YOU OFFER COLOUR OPTIONS?
No, it is difficult to match a vehicles current colour so all tops are produced with a white gelcoat.
CAN THE TOPS BE PAINTED?
Yes. Tops are produced with a white Gel-coat, but you can have it painted to suit your personal style and taste!
HOW CAN I FINISH THE INSIDE OF MY HIGH TOP?
There are a variety of options here. Some people just add a simple vinyl or carpet material sprayed to the inside, others use wood and even build storage cabinetry. There are many possibilities here!
DO YOU HAVE ANY DEALERS IN THE USA?
HOW DO I ORDER A TOP FROM YOU?
We are working on a page that will allow you to place a down payment on a top. As soon as this payment is received we will hold a top for you.
WHEN DO I NEED TO PAY THE BALANCE?
Once your top has been manufactured we will notify you. Once you have received notification you can pay the balance and then we will work on shipping.
HOW DO I GET MY TOP? DO YOU SHIP?
We are currently working on building a dealer network, until then we will figure out shipping on a case by case basis. If you can set up a group buy with others in the area we can combine the shipping to lower the cost.
WHAT IF I CHANGE MY MIND?
Down payments are non-refundable. However, if you have chosen to pay the full amount of the top upfront, we will refund everything over and above the amount of the down payment.
DO YOU INSTALL TOPS?
We do not, however, there are many qualified installers throughout North America and beyond.
CAN I INSTALL MY COAST MOUNTAIN HIGHTOP MYSELF?
Some people choose to install their own tops, but we do recommend using a qualified installer.
WHAT ARE THE INTERIOR DIMENSIONS OF A COAST MOUNTAIN HIGHTOP?
Standing height from floor to lowest point of ceiling is 6'2"
Standing height from floor to highest point of ceiling is 6'7"
Height from top of Westfalia mattress to ceiling is 21"
Width of top bunk is 52"
Width of ceiling above bunk is 36"
At the most narrow point, bulkhead space above cockpit is 16"H x 51"W x 27.5"D then flairs down towards the front to 36"D
HOW HIGH ARE THE TOPS WHEN MEASURED FROM THE EXTERIOR?
Measured from the rain gutter to the highest point of the top, it extends upward about 26.25"
