Coast Mountain Hightops was founded in 2017 with a simple idea: give Vanagon owners a better way to add space without losing the character of the van.

Inspired by classic high-top designs, our tops are shaped to complement the iconic lines of the Vanagon—adding valuable space and functionality while looking like they belong there.

In 2026, Coast Mountain Hightops entered a new chapter. The business changed hands, production moved to a new facility, and manufacturing capacity expanded to bring our high-tops to more Vanagon owners.

What hasn't changed is the passion behind the product. We know a Vanagon is rarely just a vehicle. It's a camper, an adventure rig, a project, a home on the road, and often a part of the family.
